조이와 챈들러는 항상 친구로 지내왔다.
Joey and Chandler have always been friends.  //완료시제에서는 have + always + been

하지만 그들은 자주 말다툼을 한다.
But they often argue with each other. //일반동사에서는 빈도부사가 앞에 온다.

나는 그들의 의견이 서로 일치하는 것을 거의 본 적이 없다.
I have hardly ever seen them agree with each other.

하지만 나를 매우 놀라게 하는 것은 이것이다. 그들을 자주 만나고 많은 시간을 함께 보낸다.
But this is what really surprises me.
They frequently see each other and spend a lot of time together.

* 빈도부사
 always, usually, often, sometimes, ... hardly, ... , never

 - be always 일반동사
 - have hardly pp / has frequently pp

* 장소부사, 방법부사, 시간부사
 I go to school. '학교에'가 장소부사.

* 부사앞에 전치사 사용하지 않는다.
 - downstairs, upstairs, home, abroad
 -> to downstairs(x)

* 방법부사
 - loudly, well ...

* 시간부사
 - last night, now, before, ...

* 부사의 기능은 동사의 앞 or 뒤에서 수식.

* 부사는 명사를 뒤에서 꾸며준다.
 - before there
 - people one 100 years ago
 - Korean students abroad
 - the guy downstairs is looking.

탐은 수업시간동안 나에게 조용히 속삭였다.
Tom whispered quietly to me during the class.

나는 파티에 가고싶지 않다. 나는 사람들을 거의 알지 못한다.
I don't want to go to the party. I hardly know anyone.

리 부인은 잘 듣지못한다. 나는 크게 말해야 한다.
Mrs.LEE has a hearing problem. I have to talk louldy to her.

날씨가 극도로 더웠고, 그래서 나는 에어컨을 하루종일 켰다.
The weather was extremely hot, so I had air conditioner on all day.

그 물은 수영하기에 충분히 깊지 않다.
The water is not deep enough to swim in.

당신은 사인하기 전에 그 계약서를 주의깊게 읽어야 한다.
You should read the contract carefully before you sign it.
